About our Tournament

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, as part of Children's Grief Awareness Month and in memory of Matthew Morton, pickleball players of all levels took part in Myra’s Kids first annual pickleball tournament bringing together our community for a fun filled family event to support grieving children.

About Matthew Morton:

Matthew was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, whose life was marked by deep love for his family and an unwavering commitment to those around him. A brilliant medical educator and physician, Matthew’s career was celebrated with many awards and accolades, but it was his warmth, generosity, and close friendships that truly defined him. He is remembered with love by his wife, Heidi, and their children, Brooke, Zachary, and Joshua. His legacy continues to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
