Winter can feel heavy when you are missing someone you love. Our Winter Camp is a place where children can feel safe, supported, and understood. It is a quiet space away from the rush of daily life, where they can breathe a little easier and find comfort in a caring community.
At Myra’s Kids Foundation, our mission is to give children a safe place to honour and understand how they may be impacted by the loss of a loved one. Our Winter Camp brings this mission to life by offering warmth, connection, and moments of hope.
Location: Camp B'nai B'rith of Montreal
5445 Route 329N, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec J8C 0M7
What WINTER CAMP IS…
Winter Camp is a simple idea. Bring children together in a safe winter setting. Offer activities that help them share, reflect, and remember. Surround them with adults who listen and understand. Let them laugh, play, and make new friends who “get it.”
Activities include:
• Winter games and time outdoors
• Art projects and memory keepsakes
• Small group circles
• Quiet moments to honour their person
• Campfires, stories, and simple rituals that bring comfort
Every activity is designed with care. Children move at their own pace. Nothing is forced.
