This professional development workshop is designed for mental health professionals, educators, and community workers seeking to enhance their trauma-informed care (TIC) approach when supporting children who are grieving.
Participants will gain:
A foundational understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
Practical strategies for supporting clients experiencing grief and trauma.
Tools and interventions rooted in the ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) Model.
Insights into self-care for mental health practitioners to combat vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue.
The workshop includes interactive activities, expert-led presentations, and opportunities for Q&A and group discussion.
CE Credits: Participants who register for a CE credit-eligible ticket will receive 3 CE credits upon successful completion of the workshop.
