On Sunday, November 9, more than 50 teams and 200 people gathered at the Royal Westcourt Social Club for a day that was about more than just pickleball. We played, we laughed, we remembered, and together we raised hope.
Held in memory of Matthew Morton, the tournament brought our community together to show grieving children that they are never alone. With heartfelt thanks to Royal Westcourt for their warmth and generosity, and to every player, donor, and volunteer who made the day possible. Your support helps children feel seen, supported, and safe to heal.

In Memory of Matthew Morton:
Matthew was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His life was shaped by a deep love for his family and a steady commitment to caring for everyone around him. As a brilliant medical educator and physician, he earned many awards and accolades, but it was his warmth, generosity, and the close friendships he nurtured that truly defined who he was.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Heidi, and their children, Brooke, Zachary, and Joshua. Matthew’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and in the example he set of kindness, dedication, and compassion. His legacy continues to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
